Raimo Saarinen (b. 1984) is a visual artist and sculptor known for his living sculptures that utilize plants. Saarinen graduated from the Department of Sculpture of the Academy of Fine Arts in 2017. "Neosgaia" was Saarinen's graduation work at the Academy of Fine Arts, and a version it is also part of the Helsinki-based Kirpilä Art Collection. The work of the Academy of Fine Arts is on display in the lobby of the new main building Mylly.
