Hannaleena Heiska (b. 1973) is a Finnish artist whose dream-like works often combine human and animal characters. She paints using the alla prima, or wet-on-wet, technique. Heiskanen graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in 2006. In 2011, she was one of the artists nominated for Ars Fennica, the biggest art prize in Finland.
